The Ariege is a special place. Geographically tucked away at the heart of the Pyrenees, it retains the wildness and sense of adventure that’s slowly disappearing from so many of Europe’s mountain ranges. The bucolic hills around Lescure played host to Sophie and Cathy’s wedding celebrations, and on a sunny day, friends and family from France, the US and beyond came together at the Maison de Coumanis to celebrate. There was a beautiful atmosphere and a tremendous sense of fun as the party took on its own rhythm, with dancing, pétanque, swimming, food and joy abound. Sophie and Cathy were a stunning centrepiece to the day, with their love and personalities mirroring the wildness and adventure of this magical region.
